SKU maximum length increased to 255 characters
What's new
The sku field on catalog objects now accepts up to 255 characters, up from the previous 100-character limit. The larger limit applies to both requests and responses, and to every nested item — items, lootboxes and their nested items, subscriptions, virtual currencies, bonus items, and fallback items.
Impact
You can now create and update items with SKUs longer than 100 characters. Responses may return SKUs up to 255 characters, so any consumer that stores or validates SKU length should widen its constraint to avoid truncation or validation failures.

Upgrade
- If you validate or store SKU values, widen the field to accept up to 255 characters so longer SKUs are not rejected or truncated.
